|
Top3dentists is an independent credentialing organization founded by dentists for consumers and dentists in the US. The Credential System reports are based on research on the Training, Accolades, Continuing Education and Years in Practice of each individual dentist. Furthermore, once dentists are selected, their dental laboratories, dental suppliers, dental patients, and all those who have seen this doctor's quality of care first hand (their mentors, instructors, referring doctors), are contacted. These sources are asked to qualify and rate the quality of dentistry provided by this dentist. To have an independent evaluation and to create a real value in the system Top3dentists sole motive has been to create valued reports. All dentists are not the same, nor do they have the same type of knowledge. Top3dentists sole goal is to provide a resource for those who value quality dentistry. Any one dentist can claim to be the best, or the top in any area of expertise in dentistry. A dentist may call him/herself a Cosmetic Dentist or an Implant Dentistry expert, having taken a simple 2 hour course, or even worse, with no formal type of training. Our goal is to provide you with the proper tools, to evaluate your dentist, and to be able to compare the training and expertise of dentists. |

What would you recommend He is one of the best periodontists in Philadelphia, Once in a while he has some turnover in his staff, and I think if he could keep his staff more consistently it would be better, |

rating: An overall rating of the dentists and his/her work: 10 Esthetics:How nice does it look?:NA Patient
management: 10 What do the patient say about their experience at the office of Dr. Brown He is excellent is patient management, I have been to his office where I saw the book of letters the patients have sent him and I have interacted with his patients for setting up the cases and his patient management skills are excellent, I really enjoyed working with him, he is a great periodontist Communication:10 Margins:(Both clinically and x-rays):NA What else can you tell us about Dr. Brown I know Dr Brown since 2002, we have a more of teacher student relationship, he is my teacher and taught at Albert Einstein medical center. In general he is constantly heading up with the latest techniques in his dental practice, his latest practice is equipped with all the advanced technologies and it shows how much he cares about the patients, he is a great role model for almost any dentist, he is not only so caring about the patients but also with other dentists, he mostly cares about enhancing and teaching the people about the latest trends of dentistry and this is really noteworthy about him that how well rounded his practice is.If you or your family needed a dentist would you go Dr. Brown Oh Yes, without a doubt! He is so meticulous, he is excellent in what he does and one of the things which is most impressive about him is that he has been practicing dentistry for 40 years and still really cares about learning and doing the best as possible. What can Dr. Brown do to become even better? What would you recommend It’s hard for me to think and answer this from clinical end, the only thing which I am not going to say in way that it’s not a good thing would be that he is such a perfectionist and being such a perfectionist may be sometimes take longer to get some of the procedures done but that’s why I would want to go to him because I want a perfectionist, he is such a mature practitioner, his staff is really good, I really cannot find something in which he needs to improvement, instead of recommending something to him I would rather compliment him for being perfectionist. |

By Ref Dr Marc Rothman Quality rating: An overall rating of the dentists and his/her work: 10 Esthetics: How nice does it look? NA Patient management: 10 What do the patient say about their experience at the office of Dr. Brown His patients seem so pleased, he does the excellent work and handles them beautifully, they have a good feeling about their experience with him. Communication:10 This is excellent, he provides us both written and verbal contacts of the patients that he refers too. Margins:(Both clinically and x-rays):NA What else can you tell us about Dr. Brown The is an excellent teacher, he is well respected by alumni of the students that he comes in contact with during the trainings but also has set a residency program at Einstein medical center, he runs the dental implant program there he brings in some fine people as speakers which I am one, he is member of number of societies, he has his own study group so he is really committed to teaching and spreading knowledge without any discrimination and that’s what he is truly interested in, he is making sure that people are confident in the community and have an opportunity to provide the best possible care to the patients. If you or your family needed a dentist would you go Dr. Brown Well, I sent my daughter to him and I sent my wife, so certainly Yes What can Dr. Brown do to become even better? What would you recommend Well, I think we all can do the same things to become even better and that is continue to seek out the better technologies and more knowledge and as good as we think we are we tend to look at the kind of the work we have done and consider Yeah it’s good but we could do better. The important thing is that I think we find the practitioners in those who reevaluate their work and say hunhh!! there is one way I can make it better with another plan, maybe there is another technology we could employ, may be if we had approached this treatment plan with a different perspective, may be we’ve gotten better results, there is always a room for improvement no matter how good you get so despite the fact he does the great work, and I am sure he does this himself, he reevaluates his work, it’s critical with his cases and he is always working to improve himself. |

By Ref Dr Todd Fleischman Quality rating: An overall rating of the dentists and his/her work: 10 Esthetics: How nice does it look? 8 Patient management: 9 What do the patient say about their experience at the office of Dr. Brown They say that he is very thorough clinician and he is excellent in his approach for treatment and he is very caring and concerned practitioner. Communication:10 Excellent Margins:(Both clinically and x-rays):9 What else can you tell us about Dr. Brown I would say that Dr Brown makes a conscious effort to make really a fantabulous relationship with the general dentists and patients that he work with, as far as his approach, hands on in dentistry and dealing with others is concerned, its really a pleasure to work with him and his office, we are confident that when we work together we will get the best results as possible. He has been very generous to me personally in his personal and private life including his office, he is a good guy to be around, and you always feel yourself better educated when you are around Dr Brown so it’s really a pleasure to work with him. If you or your family needed a dentist would you go Dr. Brown Yes What can Dr. Brown do to become even better? What would you recommend Difficult question, may be the only critique to Dr Brown would be to maintain a level of quality that he continues to do and there are very limited things that I would change about our relationship, he is always on the cutting edge of equipments and techniques so it’s hard to recommend something really, the only thing that I would say to give a hard thought about is making sure that his facility has always a modern contemporary aesthetic arrangement, it’s not about his dentistry but about keeping his office self updated with its décor and that would be a very polite critique about his office otherwise it’s always a pleasure to work with |

Margins:(Both clinically and x-rays):NA What else can you tell us about Dr. Brown I have known Dr Brown a little over 10 years. We frequently refer patients between our practices and combine expertise so the patient is able to obtain the best outcome. Our relationship works well because he was my professor during my GPR residency and then I went to train as an oral surgeon. During this time we have been able to grow together both personally and professionally. Dr. Brown keeps current with his continuing education, directs a prominent study club in the city and lectures nationally. He is always using the latest technology i.e perio laser surgery which is “cutting edge.” I know a number of seasoned clinicians tend to not stay current with new technologies bettering patient outcomes however Dr. Brown likes to provide the latest and greatest for his patients and referring clinicians. If you or your family needed a dentist would you go Dr. Brown Yes What can Dr. Brown do to become even better? What would you recommend He is pretty good, he is a very good clinician and he is always on cutting edge, his office is run very professionally, he is very involved in organizing the study clubs in the area; he is very involved in education in teaching hospitals, so I think overall he is already doing a great job |

Patient’s
Comment: Patients: Sondra Katz What did you have done? I had an implant Can you tell me more about your story why you chose Dr Brown? and if there is anything about him that is noteworthy? Well, first of all I do have a dentist in my area to whom I go to and when it was discovered that I need an implant I said to my dentist that if you don't mind I would like to call Dr Brown and he said by all means do that, he said I know him and he is excellent, and of course I went down and I really prefferred to have Dr Brown do this rather than the dentist who does the implants in my dentist's office, and he was wonderful I knew right from the very beginning just what would happen where he put everything right on the computer, I made an appointment with Dr Brown and he examined the mouth and told me what would happen, asked me a lot of questions, I still remember one of the questions, it was "was I taking any medication?" which I was not, the only thing I was taking was FOSAMAX and told me to stop that because I was having problems. at that time he had me go down to jefferson imaging to have a CATSCAN of my mouth so he could really see everything that was there and he showed me everything on the computer, that was really great because there would be no surprises, I could see exactly what was happening, I saw where the tooth was fractured, I knew what he had to do, he is very careful, very professional and very considerate, puts a patient into ease and gives him a comfort level that you need whether it would be doctor or an accountant or it wouldn't matter what it is, because without the comfort level if you are going to have any type of work done there's always a lot of questions if you dont feel good about it and you don't have that with Dr Brown, you know exactly what's going to happen, there is a kindness about the man himself and concerns for his patients and he is a professional to the ladder of the law and he is very caring, I can't tell you enough good thing, I think he is an excellent dentist, I never felt one day discomfort with this implant, not a thing.
