Excellent again, he sends photos, he sends fully filled out scripts, describes everything even though he knows that I know everything since we are working together since a long time but still he will fill out all the scripts fully. He will mark on photos certain things he is looking for. He is excellent.

Lab Comments

He is someone I would some my family to. He is very knowledgeable. He goes to continuing education on regular basis. So he is up to speed about all the products out there and what’s available for his patients. He has compassion for his patients. He’s not one of these dentists that pushing ‘em through and making money. He does a great job but he does what he should be doing on patients. I don’t think that money is his main concern. His objective is the outcome for both esthetics and technical for what he is trying to achieve for any particular patient.

What else can you tell me about Dr. Parker ?

He is a good man. His chair-side manner is wonderful. He is very soft spoken and will sit and explain to a patient the things that are needed. He is not just that guy who says “Hey! I am the doctor and just trust me”. He does include the patient in his case plan very much so. I wish there were more doctors out there that are as considerate and as fully involved with their patients care as he is.

What can Dr. Parker do to become even better? What would you recommend?

He is kind of my gold standard. I have been in this business for 30 years. I managed dental laboratories; I have 10 ceramists under me. I had my own commercial lab and this guy is right up there. His prep designs, his clearance for posing to allow for ceramic involvement, his communication with his lab, he being always open to when I call and he getting back to me and happy to talk to me, his concern for the patients for the end results and he is willing to take a new impression if there is a problem which there isn’t but he is always saying “hey, if there is anything I can do just let me know”. He is just a joy to work with. I really can’t say anything. I would say if I get a dentist he should treat and patient and lab the way this fellow does. He is not my brother-in-law or anything or he has not paid me for this review but trust me on that I have worked with hundreds on dentists and almost everybody has some flaws but this guy is the one I wish all of my dentist should be like. He is a really great example of a dentist. He should be considered for this Top3Dentsts program. He would be good for the program. I recommend people to him all the times. He works hard on regular basis to become better. He is constantly improving all the times. He is just a great dentist.

He is very quality oriented dentist. He just wants to get it right. He doesn’t wants to cut corners and is willing to go extra mile whatever is needed. He is always constantly updating his continuing Ed. He is just a joy to work with. He is just a great dentist.

What else can you tell me about Dr. Parker ?

I have known Dr Parker since 1991 or 92. We started working for him when I worked for a Lab called Artistic Dental Studio that he dealt with and then we worked in a different location where he followed us there when we opened up our own lab. To some dentists, dentistry is just a job to them, they get to become a dentist and just do the job by going here is there and do not really give importance to update their knowledge with continuing education. But in Dr Parker’s case, it is a career for him to joy and this is something he really wants to do. You don’t see that in lot of dentists anymore. He shares the passion of what we do. As you know there are a lot of dental technical who work for labs and it is just a job to them as simple as 9 to 5 but for me it is a career. We get involved in study groups and continuing Ed courses. I was the president of Dental Lab Association so he has been willing to give talks to our group. It’s just nice to see that and it’s hard for American General Public to figure out that who is the good dentist. How do you know that who is a good dentist. We get a lot of calls from people that ask us to refer them to a dentist and they know that we probably would know that who a good dentist is. We usually recommend them to Dr Parker. A lab is a great source to know what and who a dentist is. Dr Parker is way up there. He is also a great father, he is involved in the community and he is active with his children in sports and everything. He is just very committed, a genuine and a nice guy.

If you or your family needed a dentist, would you go to Dr. Parker ?

Yes and happily.

What can Dr. Parker do to become even better? What would you recommend?

I am not sure what he could to become even better. He is doing all what he should be doing. May be he should be open for 24 hours a day so people can take advantage of his good work, ha ha ha. I don’t know what he should do more. He does very good dentures, crowns, bridges and everything like that. I think I can’t answer this. Only thing I could say as a recommendation to all of the dentists would be to be updated with the technology but you know what he does do that already so there is nothing I can say.

He runs a small office, it is very service oriented. It is kind of a low volume, high quality practice. So it is very good. I don’t know exactly about that but I would assume such. Give him a ten.

Very good, he is one of the few people that actually contact me before the patient shows up. In his communication and discussing patient treatment plan he is obviously in the Top 3 Dentists category.

He is very concerned about his profession. He stays up with it, takes a lot of continuing ed. He is definitely involved with the dentistry by taking continuing ed to learn. He takes continuing ed to learn. A lot of people take continuing ed for location but he learns.

I go to him myself and that should tell you something.

His esthetics are very good, I have noticed those on the dentistry he has done with my son. In fact one of the issues with my son is that he plays sport and he got hit in the mouth and ended up needing a couple of root canals and one of the teeth had turned black or dark. When we went to Dr Parker he bleached it and restored in a way that I think nobody can tell which tooth it was now. So his esthetics are very good.

I can tell you that I didn’t check the margins clinically bit I did see them on an x-ray and the margins looked very good. Just what you would expect. It’s a very top quality crown because he did do a crown for my son as well.

What do the patients say about their experience at Dr. Parker 's office?

First of all from my stand point, they come very well prepared. When he refers someone to me the patient understands why they are coming to see me. And that’s not always the case, sometimes a general dentist would send a patient to me and the patient is in the dark as to why they are coming and I am in the dark. They don’t communicate well but with Dr Parker case the patients are well informed. In fact many times they’ve already been given some treatment options. So its just a matter of me filling in the blanks if you well answer the patients questions regarding the special treatment so they can make a good decision regarding their care. If there is anything that is unusual, as you might expect that there is a number of very routine things that are referred to me from him, for example wisdom teeth and so on; he will take the time to either send me an email or pick up the phone and say that I just want to give you some background about this patient before you see him or her. That’s really helpful. I think the patients have good comfort level because of the communication between him and me and they feel that they are not going to fall through the cracks.

What else can you tell me about Dr. Parker ?

I am a classmate of his wife and I have known Rich since 1978. We have a great referral relationship. He has treated my son. In my practice I have probably more than 120 offices that refer to me. I am aware of quite a few different dentists and their quality of work. I do know that he is constantly trying to improve himself and his services what he provides for his patients. In fact, just the other day he sent me some information on a course he had taken on oral appliances sleep apnea. He not only tries to improve the quality of his current services but he also tries to expand the services that he provides for his patients.

If you or your family needed a dentist, would you go to Dr. Parker ?

As I told you that he has treated my son so I feel very comfortable in sending my family members there.

What can Dr. Parker do to become even better? What would you recommend?

As the old ages “you either move forward or backward but never stand still”. I think if he would continue to do what he is doing like continuing education that he is doing, the fact that he is willing to expand the focus of his practice and all that what he is doing are all those things that I would hope that he would just continue to do. And not being satisfied with what and where he is at. I can’t think of anything new other than if he just continues to do what he is doing. I feel that would be great.

The reason I am not afraid to rate him so high is that I am an endodontist professionally so this is how I know about his work. Most of the times he refers the patient to me.

Generally, very gentle, punctual and then thoroughly explained.

I’ve known him since 2007. It’s kind of hard to sum up but for being a specialist we have to deal with probably a couple of hundreds of dentists that I work with and there are only two dentists out of all those hundreds that I would actually let them in my mouth and Dr Parker is one of them. As far as quality of dentistry, I am not going to reserve anything for Dr Parker. He calls me quite a bit and he brings up different procedures and treatment he does. He is actually keeping me up to dated on the general dentistry side.

That’s a hard question to answer. I think I really do not have any answer for this part.

What did you have done?

I had two implants and 10 crowns done from him.

Can you tell me more about your story, why you chose Dr. Parker , and if there is anything about him that is noteworthy?

The reason I first went there was because of a recommendation of a friend of mine. He always talked about how thorough this doctor is and he lets you know step by step about the procedure that what he is going to do before he does it. He tells me exactly what is going on and there are no worries or no surprises. He tells me what’s going to happen upfront and that is the nice part of him. I know what’s going on every step of the way so I am not in the dark. This guy is very meticulous. One of his favorite lines is “if this is not absolutely perfect, you let me know and will fix it, we’ll get it right” and it is always absolutely perfect when he is done. He finishes his job very well. Very thorough. I have recommended my whole family to him and I have recommended many people to Dr Parker and they are very happy with his services.

Not only he does a perfect job but he recommends to others who are great professionals. I had to have a root canal and he recommended me to another doctor who drilled through the existing crown and fixed it and then I guess Dr Parker filled in the crown. So the doctor he recommended was also very professional and very good. I trust Dr Parker and I would rank him all 10s.

Because I have known him for so long and he is a friend now. I even play tennis with him. He cares too much. I had a death in my family, I had my daughter killed in a car and motorcycle accident and he is very caring about that incident. It’s been 15 years and he’s been very caring about it, he actually remembers, he knows about her, asks about her all the times.

He’s taken a couple of crowns and had them redone. We had a problem with an implant where he had to take the implant off and he couldn’t and he took the cap off next to it and he replaced it at his own cost. Because he felt that it was his own problem that it happened. He fixed it and didn’t charge me for it. He wanted the appearance to be perfect and it is. I am quite happy.

It’s very difficult to have comfort in dentists’ chair but he is very reassuring and I am very comfortable in there. I would give him 10 on this.

I love his staff. They are very well people. Tania and all are very helpful. I had a problem with my son with alcohol and they all treat him as he is their son. They talk to him and they are very professional.

Very friendly. I am a tennis player and he also happen to be a tennis player. We hit the ball a couple of times. He is very approachable, very down to earth and very human. You know you have to have a degree of professionalism and he has that and he maintains that. I call him Doc, he is very down to earth.

Everyone and I have recommended many people to him. My whole family goes to him, my brother goes to him, my kids go to him and I have had many friends see him for their dental work.

What would you recommend to Dr. Parker so that he can be more efficient at what he does?

He does everything what he should be doing. He is well educated, keeps his knowledge updated. He is very updated with technology. So I don’t know what to recommend for his improvement. If he could somehow walk on water that could probably be an improvement. I am not sure what could I ask for the man. I like the man. He is the best dentist I ever had in my life. Once a tooth of mine was chopped, I called him, it was 8:30 in the morning, he opened up the door and first treated me before hours. What more can you want from a man?

In my personal opinion I would recommend this man to anyone. I trust him with all my kids. I have three kids that are living and works on all of them. I go by his recommendation having the procedure done. He tells me which one to go to, I listen to him and I hold his value very highly. We actually used to live a little bit closer to where he is based out of where I grew up as a child. So we used him when I was younger. I later relocated and it is not that closer for me to go to him more often but whenever it comes to something where more important dental work is involved as it happened in last summer I always go to him no matter how far his practice is because he is so patient, very caring and expert at his work. I have had a handful thing done from him over the period of time like crowns, filling, cavity filled and everything like that. I got a bleaching done from him before my wedding and he did a fantastic job with that.

I have had crowns but I don’t have the crowns yet because I am in the process of doing Invisalign. He is doing my Invisalign too. He took the impression of it before. That’s coming up soon. I also go for routine cleaning.
