He is very professional and respectful of the dental lab. He is also very knowledgeable about dental techniques.
What else can you tell me about Dr. White ?
His labs rate him very high on their lists because he delivers and practices a higher standard of dentistry.
If you or your family needed a dentist, would you go to Dr. White?
Yes.
What can Dr. White do to become even better? What would you recommend?
This is something I recommend for anyone who wants to be the top in their field: stay current and on top of new dental techniques and products. Dr. White is very current with everything and is always aware of new products, evaluates new procedures/treatment/products, and stays current regarding state-of-the-art dentistry. So my only recommendation would be just continue doing what he’s doing.

We treat a lot of patients together, so I have had the opportunity to see his technical aptitude, cosmetic ability, and the outstanding quality of his margins. You simply don’t get the kind of results that this man creates routinely without having exquisite control over every aspect of the treatment.

What do the patients say about their experience at Dr. White's office?
They are very happy with Dr. White.
What else can you tell me about Dr. White?
Dr. White is not only a phenomenal dentist, but he’s also a close personal friend. He has an extraordinary ability to communicate both with patients and colleagues. In fact, he is a master communicator and, as a result, he has been able to been recognized for his excellence both by his peers and patients. His level of high quality case acceptance for comprehensive dentistry is exceptional. I think we have mentored each other; I have mentored him on some of the complicated aspects in the specialty arena. On the other hand he has mentored me on two levels; on the one hand he has shown me how to create exceptionally beautiful cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry and, on the other hand, he has (quite frankly) mentored me about patient communication. We have worked together for a long time.
If you or your family needed a dentist, would you go to Dr. White ?
Unreservedly, yes.
What can Dr. White do to become even better? What would you recommend?
Dr. White is what I would call a constant student or a course appreciator. He takes hundreds of hours of continuing education classes every year that add to his tool box of technology and techniques in advanced dentistry. Collaborating at the level that we have over the years will continue to makes him a better dentist. I think he is constantly improving himself and his skill-set daily; this makes him a premier clinician.

What do the patients say about their experience at Dr. White's office?
I haven’t had anyone say anything bad or negative about him. The patients who come to my office usually praise him. Most of them say that they want to go back to get Dr. White’s opinion about dental treatment. I haven’t had a single patient say that they would not go back to him.
What else can you tell me about Dr. White?
I have known Dr. White for 20 years or so, and he keeps himself up-to-date and pursues a lot of continuing education courses. One thing that he does that other dentists in the area do not do is sedate his patients to help make them comfortable. This is a huge plus for his practice; I am speaking from a specialist point of view, as an oral surgeon. As a side note, I enjoy going to his office because he make delicious chocolate chip cookies.
If you or your family needed a dentist, would you go to Dr. White ?
Yes, especially if I need a dentist who used sedation.
What can Dr. White do to become even better? What would you recommend?
Nothing.

I have known Dr. White for more than 25 years. I think he is an extraordinary and very capable doctor. He is constantly trying to keep himself up-to-date with the latest techniques and is able to provide a wide range of services.
If you or your family needed a dentist, would you go to Dr. White ?
Oh, Sure! Without a question.
What can Dr. White do to become even better? What would you recommend?
That’s a hard one. That’s the only question that I find difficult to answer because I think he is more or less constantly striving for perfection, so I am at a lost to give him a suggestion. He is always improving his dental skill set and training.

Have you instructed Dr. White in a hands-on program or did you instruct him in an academic training course?
I don’t know whether I can myself his mentor, but if he says so then I would say so. I have had Dr. White as a guest in some of the many programs that we teach. Because of my standing in the dental community and our constant dental study groups, we run a lot of programs. Dr. White has certainly attended many classes with us in both a scholastic and hands-on training setting.

The man is a genius. He is brilliant not just in dentistry, but also in everything that he does.
Lab Communication: 9
Have you seen x-rays of Dr. White work?
Yes.
Tell me as much as you can about Dr. White. As his mentor, we value your opinion.
I’ve known Dr. White for 10 years, and he is a brilliant communicator. The man knows how to talk to everyone, no matter what walk of the life they’ve come from. He communicates clearly to them so that they can accept ownership of the problem that they have going on in their mouth. It isn’t a sales pitch; it’s encouraging patients to comprehend what’s wrong in their mouth and trust Dr. White to be the one to repair it. Dr. White understands the forms and functions of the jaw and works with some of the finest lab technicians in the country. All of his cases that I’ve seen have been mounted on articulators which, in my humble opinion, set him apart from other dentists. Even the best dentists in the area are not working with articulators. I know this because I trained him and lectured regarding dentist who use articulating paper to adjust the patient’s bite. Research shows that dentists who look at articulating paper marks are missing about 80 to 90 percent of the true bite. The reason is because articulating paper marks are just guidelines to show you where to adjust, but text gain shows you why you need to make adjustments. Dr. White works with text gain. And that’s why he’s my dentist. He is very caring, gentle and he knows what he’s doing. He is a Dawson-trained dentist and studied under some of the finest clinicians and philosophers either of dentistry or of life in the country. Patients couldn’t be in better hands with him as their dentist; that’s why he’s my dentist.
Should you or your family need a dentist in his area, would you go to Dr. White?
He has done my work; he reconstructed my whole mouth after I developed TMJ. He did a fantastic job on my full mouth reconstruction.
What can Dr. White do to become even better? What would you recommend?
He should play better music in his office; it’s classical and I like to listen to rock. I bring my own music and headphones to his office.
By Patient: Ms. Kelly Szabo
What did you have done?
Everything; you name it and I had done. I have had veneers, crowns, bridges, and he also helped me a lot with my bite. I had a trauma in my mouth where my front tooth got knocked out. That’s why I needed to get a bridge and veneers.
Can you tell me more about your story, why you chose Dr. White, and if there is anything about him that is noteworthy?
Yes, absolutely. I kind of stumbled upon him; I moved to Philadelphia for a new job and I had a very, very bad experience with my dentist in my hometown. When I moved here I needed to find a new dentist, and then I kind of happened upon him. I found him on the internet when I was searching on Google for a dentist nearby. When I went in to his practice for my first consultation, I was just amazed by his office. Everyone there was very kind and very attentive to my needs. I was in a very fragile state emotionally because of what had happen to me. There was a lot of trauma to my front teeth and they were very understanding, which was so refreshing; I was extremely happy. They took time to answer all my questions when I went in for a consultation; they talked to me about my options clearly with a lot of concern for my welfare.

It was a 10 - it really was. I’ve been to several dentists and had many experiences. Dr. White is really a 10 in terms of his professionalism.

Staff: 10
They are amazing. They are very comforting.
Dentist's Knowledge: 10
It was a 10. When Dr. White realized I was a complicated case, he was willing to refer me to a dentist who could handle my particular problem. He isn’t afraid to admit when he’s not capable of doing a procedure. Dr. White referred me to an implant surgeon in the city and a dental surgeon to extract my tooth for the implant. Instead of trying to do it all himself, Dr. White took care of me by putting me in the hands of qualified dental specialists.

Would you recommend Dr. White?
Yes, absolutely.
Who would you recommend to Dr. White?
Anyone - my friends, colleagues, and anyone who does needs a dentist in this area.
What would you recommend to Dr. White so that he can be more efficient at what he does?
He is really great. My only recommendation is that he continues taking time with his patients. That was something that really pleased me. I didn’t feel rushed during my appointments. Everyone really took the time to talk to me and listen to my concerns. They not only listened to them, but also addressed all of my concerns in order to make sure I felt comfortable. I would just recommend that he continue to do that; that’s what really makes a difference to me.
Patient's Comments:
He has had a huge impact on my life, my self esteem, and my appearance. Dr. White has helped to make me feel whole again.
By Patient: Ms. Marcia Plotkin
What did you have done?
Root canals and cosmetic dentistry.
Can you tell me more about your story, why you chose Dr. White, and if there is anything about him that is noteworthy?
My husband and I suffered from dental pain while out of the country. Upon returning, we called our dentist and found that he was sick, so he recommended that we see Dr. White. We called Dr. White, and he saw us immediately for what turned out to be a root canal. I was so impressed by the office staff, their cleanliness, Dr. White’s manner, and, above all, the care he took in providing his service. I’ve stayed a patient ever since. Along the way, he recommended cosmetic dentistry. At first I “poo-pooed” this idea, but eventually I spend 3 years researching cosmetic options and getting 3 other opinions. All the other dentists recommended that I get braces, which I thought was silly since I’d still have to have the cosmetic surgery. Dr. White was the only one who agreed.
Overall Experience: 10
Excellent – he is as quick as one can be with this sort of dentistry.
Professionalism of Dentist: 10
Took care to ensure that I was comfortable.

He made sure I understood what was going to happen and walked me through the entire process.
Would you recommend Dr. White?
Absolutely. Of course, this is an expensive process and you need to make sure you are getting exactly what you want.
Who would you recommend to Dr. White?
Anyone who wants quality dentistry and is not afraid to ask questions.
What would you recommend to Dr. White so that he can be more efficient at what he does?
Nothing, he knows what he is doing.
Patient's Comments:
As you can see, if I had to do this process all over again, I would do the same thing and I considered myself a tough sell on getting cosmetic dentistry. It took me 3 years to decide. I love my new smile and now there is NO FOOD is stuck in between my teeth.
By Patient: Ms. Marge Rossiter
What did you have done?
I had many things done. I had root canals, and then he sent me to another doctor for implants. Dr. White has done many things to improve my dental and oral health.
Can you tell me more about your story, why you chose Dr. White, and if there is anything about him that is noteworthy?
What happened was that I was referred to Dr. White by another dentist. Dr White did a really great job; he explained everything, took time to answer my questions, showed me my options, and suggested the options that were right for me. I really liked Dr. White’s professionalism and his caring demeanor towards me.
Overall Experience: 9
I never give anybody a ten.
Professionalism of Dentist: 9
He’s very professional and so is his staff; actually his gentle manners are reflected all over his practice. They are great.
Level of Care: 9
He really cares; I would have not stayed with him if he was not caring. He is a very compassionate person.
Chair-side Manner: 9
If I am feeling uncomfortable, he stops to make sure I am okay and will only begin when I am ready. He makes sure you’re doing well and won’t proceed until you are ready. He will ask you again and again how you are doing, and that is exceptional.
Quality : 9
I think it’s wonderful. He not only delivers quality dental work himself, but also sends his patients to other high quality dentists who give you the same exceptional quality of treatment and care. I have no complaints about Dr. White. Let me tell you something, I am an older woman, and I have been to many dentists before so I know that there are dentists, and there are dentists. Dr. White is one of the dentists who treats his patients as if he’s treating his family members. I appreciate that level of care because, as you know, the dentist’s office is not fun to go to. I was very upset with my dental issues because of the dentist I was going to before Dr. White. Once I found Dr. White, I felt like I had found the right place for me. I can’t say enough good things about him.
Esthetic and happiness with results: 10
I am breaking my own rule here by giving him a 10. I am very, very happy with the results. If you would have seen me before going to Dr. White and then see me now, you would see why I am so happy. I know people who knew me before the treatment and they noticed a big change in my looks; I get so many compliments. I give him a 10 on this part.
Patient Comfort: 10
Staff: 10
Dentist's Knowledge: 10
He’s very knowledgeable.
Friendliness of the Dentist and Approachability: 10
Comfort of Bite: 10
Smoothness of the Restorations: 10
They are all very smooth. When I rub my tongue against them, they feel real.
Ease of Flossing: 10
Treatment Planning: 10
I would like to give 12 on this question because he put me on a great treatment plan that not only suited my needs, but also was customized for my convenience. I felt very happy about it. I give him 12 out of 10 on this.
Would you recommend Dr. White?
Absolutely! In a heartbeat.
Who would you recommend to Dr. White?
To anybody that I know and care about; I did it for my husband.
What would you recommend to Dr. White so that he can be more efficient at what he does?
Gosh! I don’t know how he can improve more. You cannot actually ask for more than what he does. He loves his patients, treats them well, he’s very knowledgeable at what he does, and he keeps on improving himself everyday. I am not sure what to recommend. The only thing I can think to recommend to Dr. White is to advertise a bit more so that people looking for a real deal great dentist can find him easily. That’s my only suggestion.
Patient's Comments:
I think he makes you feel very calm and he doesn’t do this only for the money. As I told you before, there are dentists, and there are dentists. He is far superior to a lot of them and yet he is still so humble, loving and caring. If there is something that you don’t want, he will tell you what he would have done if it was him. I respect him so much for taking care of me. Even if it’s last minute, he will never hesitate to see me. I don’t know of any other dentist who does that. I am telling you, I know a lot about dentists, and he is really a Top Dentist. You should put him up there on top of all the other dentists.
