About Dr. James Kakos
Arlington Heights Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Kakos was born and raised in Chicago. He completed his undergraduate education at Marquette University and then received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1991. Following graduation, Dr. Kakos went on to complete a two-year externship at the Midwest Implant Institute where he received his surgical and prosthetic implant training. Dr. Kakos is also a licensed dental anesthesiologist. 
Dr. Kakos has an extensive continuing education record. His pursuit of excellence in providing cosmetic dentistry in Arlington Heights drives him to attend and participate in some of the most advanced continuing education available; consequently, he received the Distinction of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, which only five percent of the dentists in the United States have achieved. In addition, Dr. Kakos is a member of numerous other associations and academies, including the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society; He is a sustaining member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Kakos has been on staff at Northwest Community Hospital since 1992.

| Yeah, I speak to him on occasions and he is a very nice person and dentist and you know I like about the dentist is, he is very open minded and he is very prepared to listen to the lab and their point of view as well and takes it under consideration so it’s his way. I think he is a great dentist to work with, I would rate him as one of the top cosmetic dentists we have ever worked with, he is really a top dentist. I wish we have more dentists who give us as clean preps, impressions, master preps and all as Dr Kakos does, it’s a pleasure working with a dentist like him, his standards just make cases so much better and make our job easier and obviously the patient feels himself in a better corner himself. |

| 100%, we both treat each other like a family and that’s how we do business. You know you can’t read my mind and I can’t read yours so when it comes to dentistry and laboratory work you need to communicate and he is always open and cooperate to communicate for anything I bring up to the table. |

| He’s a short little Greek Guy. He has a little bit of hair in the middle,(ha ha ha) he’s got a great personality, very friendly, outgoing, he has made himself very educated, he always wants to learn more and is always working in new technologies, and he’s a guy who will go out of his way to improve what he is doing, technologically, educationally and anywhere you look at it. I have never seen a dentist who does all what he does and I think all this has got to do with his personality. I would absolutely recommend him for Top 3 Dentists. |

| I think he is very cosmetic oriented dentist so I think he runs a type of practice where he’s got a lot of patients who are extremely satisfied, he also restored my own though and I am extremely satisfied, he’s done beautiful work so I would guess his patients but be very happy. |

| The only thing I can tell you that impresses me the most is how he strives always to keep up with continued education, I don’t know any general dentist in this whole area that takes anymore continued education and takes for instance accreditation for AGD or his affiliation with LVI or his affiliation with some of the other cosmetic organization, he takes it so seriously, he is extremely pursuant and always trying to better his education which is very impressive. I have known Dr Kakos for many years, we actually grew up together, we ended up graduating from same dental class in 1991. |

| All of us in my family had something done, I myself had porcelain crowns, I had a dental implant put in, he took care of everything from kids to adults, my kids and husband have wonderful relations with Dr. Kakos. |

| I chose him over 20 dentists, I am only gonna only approach someone who has someone good dental work to begin with, I do all my homework myself, rule of thumb, I can tell who is trustworthy or not, I was searching for dentist and I interviewed 20 dentists and upon going to his office I was exhausted I knew who the dentists would be and, he is just excellent, from making an appointment and going for treatment and all that is perfect, it’s like a family atmosphere, he is genuine and kind hearted and loves his work, that man is nothing but concerned about your dental hygiene, he’s beyond number one as I said I interviewed 20 dentists so no one is even near to him. I live in jaudy and I go to him in Arlington Heights. |

| A ten plus, hundred, a thousand, a million, Yo!! listen, I’m not related to him and he doesn’t pay me, okay? And I would say this to anyone at anytime; if anyone know me they know it that we love our dentist. Our dentist is just second to none, he is honestly a best choice when you want a dentist, he has the nicest dental office. I tell you what, it was such a blessing going to Dr Kakos, he is totally out of the norm, impeccably clean office, trust me, I went to over 20 dentists physically (and that is really a hard job to do) and I chose him over all those 20 because he is unbelievable, all of us go to him, my little one was afraid of dentists after going to ABC dentist (a pediatric dental clinic down here) but once we started going to Dr Kakos, you know kids are afraid of going to Dentists but my Dr loves going to Dr Kakos, his concerns are beyond concerns, it’s a joke to say that he is doing this for money, he is a real deal, he is beyond what you would want, needless to say that I like him. We are always very happy, it was a blessing choosing him. |

| Let’s see why I chose him, I chose him because I knew I need to have some cosmetic work done, I has done some previously many years ago and I needed to have some restoration done and I saw advertisement by Dr Kakos in Chicago magazine and I was looking around for someone who is expert in this area, so I visited with Dr Kakos a couple of times some years back and he struck me really very professional and very well versed and I really liked his approach and the way he communicated with me, so I elected to have him do this work for me which took us 9 months or a year where we had to do a lot of work and I’ve been really really pleased with the job he did, the more important as dentist, (and I had lots of dentists since I was kid) but he puts you in so much ease and he makes you feel very comfortable with him and he is really the best professional and he is very professional at what he does. His relationship with patients makes him really a top dentist, he did a fantastic job and I use him know as my dentist. |
